Saturday 5 October - Yay! It's finally here!

Jenny arrived on time last night; I managed to get in a final swim before I met her at Engadine Station. Even all the hassle I had with balances on OPAL cards worked well. So now we're just doing final pottering around stuff. Jenny tinted my eyelashes for me and I'm waiting for Jane to arrive at 10.30 for a tour of the house and to settle her in.

We woke to beautiful rain this morning, saving the need to water before I go. If it dries up as scheduled, I need to do a final weed treatment and then Jenny and I are going for a drive to Helensburgh so she can see my new house from the outside at least and get a feel for the town. Poor Tia is sulking: she knows what the suitcases mean. I actually think she's worried for her own wellbeing because she knows I'm going: however, she's in for lots of cuddles and TLC from Jane, so she'll soon be able to relax and de-stress!

This afternoon at 4.45 Jane or Al next door will drive us to Engadine Station and then we'll be off.
