Sunday 6 October - Long Haul flight done

Yesterday all went well; Al was right on time and we were soon waiting on Engadine Station for our train. At Wolli Creek, a gentleman came and took my bag and put it on the train for me. He was in the same compartment, also geting off at Wolli Creek and he carried the bag off the train for me - our first Angel Story for the trip!

We left close to schedule and the flight was pretty good. I love the A380! So quiet and we were in the front section preferred seats, not any bigger but you get off the plane first. Emirates service and food is first class. I slept/rested for about 10 hours!

Not a deep sleep but I certainly don't feel overtired at the moment. We've had a walk through the terminal, looking at all the very expensive shops; Jenny has gone for a walk and I'm sitting with the bags.

Half an hour to go before we board the Rome flight; 6.5 hours, so hopefully another snooze.
